I've posted a link to this video in the past, but wanted to share it once again. For those of you who have been following our foster-care journey, this video can say what our words cannot or aren't allowed to. What it comes down to is this: We are a home for children of trauma. We're loving on young boys who are trying to understand their version of family and normal. It's thick and tangled and strange and a million other feelings. It is necessary. It is kingdom work. It's lonely, for them and for us. I can't help but wonder if the boys echo any of what this girl's narrative says.
